First aid

All Elms Coaches are First Aid trained, this is a mandatory requirement and is sat every three years.

Elms camps all have comprehensive first aid packs. Should treatment be required, this will be administered by the Head Coach.

In the event of an injury, the relevant Accident/Incident Form is completed by the Head Coach and kept on record. Parents/Guardians are informed.

Any head injuries will be reported to Parent/Guardians immediately.

It is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to inform The Elms of any medical issues/conditions prior to participation in an Elms Camp.

Photographic images and media

From time to time, The Elms’ media team will take photographs for marketing purposes.

We will of course obtain parental permission before using any of the images.

Photographs would always be relevant to the sport and never contain any personal information.

Risk assessments

Although children are taking part in sports activities and accidents do happen, Risk Assessments are carried out prior to holding every camp.

Sports and activities played, as well as areas, numbers and ages are all carefully considered prior to the camp commencing – ensuring the safety of your child.
