So after a long cold winter the Bessingby venue in Ruislip is bouncing back in great form. It’s a new exciting time for us and things are looking good as we are looking to fill a few places at the soon to be revealed Elms Soccer School of Excellence. Keep your eyes peeled for a number of youngsters coming up from Bessingby. From the younger group I have particularly impressed with Matthew Wright, aged only 5, and is setting Bessingby alight with his superb goal scoring ability. Players of the week this week were Lucas Bryant (6) and Robert Johnston (12). Lucas showed that he has the potential to become the new Roy Keane at Bessingby, battling his socks off all over the park. Robert has earned himself yet another certificate this week for his great ability to lead by example.

Things are heating up in Ruislip and there is an air of excitement around. With numbers increasing each week it seems a matter of time until we will be in need of a larger coaching staff.

As hard as I try, I cannot think of any negative comments to associate with the Elms. The coaching team are fantastic and throw their whole soul at the job to make it such good fun for the kids. The children enjoy it so much they continue to come season after season, rain or shine.
My son has been attending the Elms for 6 years now and will try to stay for another six if his age doesn’t exclude him.
The cost has just risen to £4.00 per session, the first rise I have known and its still excellent value for money. I have spoken to other parents and they all think the same.
The Elms…good for football…great for kids.

Matthew Johnston

It’s great for the children to learn and practice football skills without the pressure of having to win matches. My lads have made some great friends and look forward to their Saturday football.

With new coaches, ideas and sponsorship from the Harrow Observer we have a solid base to take this soccer school to new levelsand moving on into a very exciting future. I hope we can now begin to show off the talented footballers that we have attending our soccer schools and can form bigger relationships with with Football Clubs in our areas.
